Trust and Wait

Trusting and waiting. Are these actions or not? If we were to trust and wait on God...what do we do during this time? Do we do anything? Or do we trust and wait on God to do something? And we go on doing what we do?

One sermon from my college years that I remember the pastor said that we should do our part and God will do his part. We shouldn't try to do God's job. I think there is a fine line between what I should do and what I should leave to God.

Recently, a speaker said that if we worry...we are not trusting God. I'm not God so I shouldn't do His job. He goes before us and prepares a way for His will to come to pass.

This speaker also said that we cannot keep depending on our emotions. Our pastor mentioned recently that we can't blame the way we are on our ethnicity either. Interesting things to ponder. These are all part of us but we can't continue to use them as crutches.
